Commercial Trailer Rental Agreement

1. Definitions

• Agreement: These terms and any documents we provide at the time of rental.

• You/Your: The person renting, along with any person or organization responsible for payment.

• Ant Trailer Rentals, LLC / We / Us / Our: The company renting the Trailer to you.

• Authorized Driver: The individual(s) named on the valid insurance policy submitted with this Agreement.

• Trailer: The specific trailer requested for rental with this Agreement (either online or otherwise), or a replacement trailer arranged for by us.

• Loss of Use: Lost rental income while a damaged trailer is repaired or replaced.

• Diminished Value: The reduction in the Trailer’s value after damage, even if repaired.

2. Rental Terms & Liability
You are renting the Trailer from us. We may repossess the Trailer at your expense if abandoned or used in violation of this Agreement or the law. You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold Ant Trailer Rentals, LLC harmless from all claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Trailer. The Trailer is rented as is, with no warranties.

3. Condition & Return
Return the Trailer on time, to the agreed location, in the same condition as when rented (except normal wear). You’re responsible for the Trailer until we inspect it during business hours. Repairs or servicing require our prior written approval.

4. Damage or Loss
You are responsible for any loss or damage to the Trailer for any reason—including accidents, weather, or acts of nature—whether or not you are at fault. You are also responsible for Loss of Use, Diminished Value, missing parts, and related administrative fees. All accidents must be reported to both Ant Trailer Rentals, LLC and the police within 24 hours.

5. Prohibited Uses
You may NOT use the Trailer for:

• Transporting hazardous or illegal materials

• Transporting people

• Being towed by anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol

• Being towed by anyone not listed on the provided insurance policy

• Any illegal purposes

• Travel outside the U.S. or Canada

• Overloading beyond manufacturer specifications

• Going under or through structures without enough clearance

• Use that could reasonably cause damage

• Using with unsecured or improperly loaded cargo

• Intentional, reckless, or abusive damage

• Painting, stickers, or other markings on the Trailer

6. Insurance
You must provide proof of valid liability insurance covering the Trailer, through the insurance policy of the towing vehicle, for the entire rental period. Your insurance is responsible for any damage or loss up to your deductible. Cargo inside the Trailer is not covered.

7. Charges
You agree to pay:

• Rental fees (daily/weekly charges + taxes)

• Traffic, toll, or parking violations

• Recovery costs if not properly returned

• Legal or collection costs

• $20 late fee per hour after due return time, if 4+ hours late, you will be charged for the day and are free to keep the trailer another 24 hours

• $40 cleaning fee if returned dirty
  No refunds for early returns

• $50 cancellation fee (subtracted from deposit) if cancelled under 24 hours from pickup time

8. Deposit
A refundable deposit of $150 is included at the time of booking. This deposit will be returned if no damage, loss, cleaning, or other fees apply. If there are any unpaid charges beyond the deposit, your credit card on file will be charged for the balance.

9. Credit Card Authorization
By signing this Agreement, you authorize Ant Trailer Rentals, LLC to charge your credit card on file for any additional charges related to cleaning, repairs, damages, or fees not covered by your deposit.

10. Changes to Agreement
No changes to this Agreement are valid unless in writing, signed by both parties. This Agreement is the full and final agreement between you and Ant Trailer Rentals, LLC.

11. Waiver & Limits of Liability
No waiver by us is binding unless in writing. We are not responsible for special, consequential, or punitive damages. If any part of this Agreement is invalid, the rest remains enforceable.
